With the help of “File a Claim” option of USPS, a customer can easily file to claim for missed mail and damaged package. There are only a few postal services which offer this facility. Different time slots are available with different type of services.

- International Shipments

- If you have filed domestic insurance online then you can log in to a customer account by visiting https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm and can see the status of all the claims filed on this site.. Through the “Claims History” tab you will also be able to track the status of all previous claims.

Before tracking the status of the insurance claim you have to provide some information like:-
- Your tracking number
- Date of mail
